After completing a PhD in Neuropharmacology at the School of Pharmacy, University of London Dr. Hwee Teoh carried out postdoctoral studies at the National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong before joining St Michael’s Hospital as a Research Associate.  Dr. Teoh’s current research interests are directed at uncovering how proteins which are typically involved in non-inflammatory physiology may contribute to and/or regulate the body’s innate responses to sepsis insult.  Additionally, she has collaborative links with several ongoing provincial and national trials that delve into care management of patients with cardiovascular, endocrinology and cardiometabolic disorders.
